About

Villa Crossmedia is a European project of the Interreg IVA 2 Seas-program, led by the City of Mechelen, with Het Entrepot (Bruges), CSV Media Club House (Ipswich) and Thomas More (Mechelen) as partner organisations.

The main goal of the Villa Crossmedia project is to make young people aware of the opportunities as well as the pitfalls that come with the use of media.

Villa Crossmedia gives young people the opportunity to experiment with media and tries to make them 'mediawise' at the same time.

Villa Crossmedia developed a game to test and strengthen the media literacy of young people in cooperation with Mediaraven, another expert organization in youth and media.

This cooperation resulted in the 'Caspar-game'. A game for 12 to 26-year-olds, with different levels of difficulty, and it can be played by anyone from media nitwit to media geek.

The questions and assignments in this game were developed in cooperation with Sensoa.
